From the road our two B&B country houses beckon you warmly. Our Hannah Marie sign lets you know this is the place. Park your car in one of two parking areas, and enter into an inspiring spirit created just for you.
Your lodgings are ready for you: cozy Queen feathered beds, private baths, whirlpools in every guestroom, yummy breakfast in a basket to your room door, flower, herb and vegetable gardens with in-season butterflies, a labyrinth path, croquet on-the-lawn, fly a kite up high.
Because we are passionate about innkeeping, we've added: central air and heating, softened water, bubbles for your bath, and ironed top sheets. Plus, we're value-priced: "One price includes all" -- no added lodging tax.
Your visit to Northwest Iowa would not be complete without visiting the glacier-carved lakes. This beautiful chain of lakes extends from the Minnesota border southwest several miles and covers about fifteen thousand acres. The Iowa Great Lakes include Iowa's largest natural lake, Spirit Lake, and five interconnected lakes: West Okoboji, East Okoboji, Upper Gar, Lower Gar and Minnewashta. Lost Island Lake features 5000 acres of surrounding wetlands and almost 300 species of birds, making it one of the top birding areas in the Midwest.
